The Coagu Check INRange device and the Coagu Check XS PT PST 24T measuring strips from Roche, which are also available through the EOPYY, are an ideal way to measure blood coagulation and prothrombin time safely and effectively at home. Furthermore, it is possible to connect using Bluetooth or USB to quickly send your results to your healthcare professional.

The EOPYY prescription covers the cost of the INR device and the measurement strips, making it an affordable and convenient option for individuals who need to monitor their INR level.

To obtain the device through EOPYY, the prescribing physician should follow the steps below:

  1. The cardiologist, through the EOPYY system, will need to apply to the Supreme Board of Health and write in that the insured needs to take some measurements per month (to justify quantitative tapes).
  2. Once he gets approval (2-3 days), the cardiologist issues 2 separate opinions (1 for the machine & 1 for the strips), the top right will be the decision number.

In order for the EOPYY to accept the opinion and reimburse the materials, 2 separate opinions are required. One for the meter and one for the strips. Otherwise, where the materials are in the same opinion the expense is not accepted by the EOPYY.
